Kingston James never had trouble adjusting to a new school. People were drawn to him the moment they saw him, people seemed to either want to be his friends or wanted to fawn all over him because he was attractive. He was used to it, pretty much expected it at every school he went too. He was a pro at coming to new schools because he was currently on his 12th and what his parents told him had to be his last high school. He was supposed to behave better here, which meant no getting into fights or talking back to teachers, or his parents would pretty much give up on him. Giving up on him meant that he would be cut off financially and that was something that King could not accept. So even though he could honestly care less about this new school and the people in it, he would try. Especially seeing as it was his senior year, how hard could it be?
Right now he wasn't worried about any of that shit though, right now he was wanting to find peace and quiet, so he could relax and eat his lunch and maybe read a book. Didn't want to have anyone up his ass cause he was the new kid, or any people gawking at him because he was hot. He just wanted to be left alone. Though that's how he often felt, he usually didn't really talk to people unless he wanted something from them. He wasn't the type of person that just made friends, he was the type of person that got to know people because it would some how benefit him in the long run. Right now he didn't need anything, other than silence, so he wasn't looking to be chatty, just looking to be left alone. He figured going outside and finding a secluded spot was his best option, not enough places to hide in doors and he had a roommate he had to share his dorm with.
He spotted a tree that wasn't really by anything and figured that was the best place for him and headed there. Tossing his bag down, before settling his body down beside it, he relaxed his back against the tree and started to pull his lunch and book out of his bag. Most people looked at him and assumed he was just some dumb jock. The thick tattooed covered arms, and his casual dress of jeans and a t-shirt often through most people off. They didn't figure he was smart (how else would he have made it to be a senior after being kicked out of so many schools), and they surely didn't figure he was the type that looked for a secluded spot to read. Especially a book like Anna Karenina, but he loved having them think one way about him because that meant he got to prove them wrong, and the asshole that rested deep within his soul loved putting people in their places.
He took a sip from his mountain dew as he slunk lower against the tree, his long legs stretched out in front of him, with his book opened up to the current page he was reading in his other hand. Getting lost in the world of his book and thankful that no one else was around and had so far not found him to bother him and enjoying every second of silence he was getting.
